Who we are

Glacien Glass are a family glass decorating business established in 1958.

Our company specialises in a number of decorative design methods on glass or mirrors, such as acid etching, sand blasting, gilding, painting, tinting and vinyl lettering. Throughout this site are samples of the work we have carried out. The images show different methods from gold leafing, painting, and different shades of sand blasting/ acid etching.

Glacien Glass are able to work from customers' own artwork or from a disk that is compatible with Apple Macintosh. Our Apple Mac is linked to a vinyl cutter which allows us to run out artwork straight onto vinyl. We can also design and create our own artwork.

The main source of our work comprises of pub windows, screens, fascias, door panels, fanlights, signs, decorative mirrors, partitioning, hotels, banks and restaurants.
